Police Blotter: Battery, DUI Arrests

The Grayslake Police Department reports arrests from Jan. 22-25.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Battery

John C. MacNaughton, 19, of 718 Waterbury Ave., Gurnee, was charged with battery Jan. 22 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for criminal trespass to residence and mob action-assemble for unlawful act-two or more subjects. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Feb. 18 court date.

Jacob R. Estes, 20, of 4350 Finch Court No. 8, Gurnee, was charged with battery Jan. 22 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for criminal trespass to residence and mob action-assemble for unlawful act-two or more subjects. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Feb. 18 court date.

Raven K. Glanert, 19, of 34292 N. Birch Lane, Gurnee, was charged with battery Jan. 22 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. Glanert was also cited for criminal trespass to residence and mob action-assemble for unlawful act-two or more subjects. Glanert was released on $1,200 bond pending a Feb. 18 court date.

Desmond G. Horvat, 22, of 34292 N. Birch Lane, Gurnee, was charged with battery Jan. 22 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for criminal trespass to residence and mob action-assemble for unlawful act-two or more subjects. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Feb. 18 court date.

DUI

Fernando D. Londono, 27, of 1040 W. Illinois Ave., Beach Park, was charged with driving under the combined influence of alcohol/drugs/compounds Jan. 25 near East Route 120 and East Misty Hill Lane. He was also cited for possession of a controlled substance-cocaine, improper lane usage and driving without lights when required. He was released on his drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Feb. 26 court date.

Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident

Christen N. Cooper, 20, of 4350 Finch Court No. 8, Gurnee, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Jan. 22 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. Cooper was also cited for battery, criminal trespass to residence, mob action-assemble for unlawful act-two or more subjects, aggravated fleeing/eluding at speeds greater than 21 miles per hour, and reckless driving. Cooper was issued a $25,000 bond.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Phillip Vazquez, 37, of 201 Fairfield Road, Round Lake, was charged with possession of a controlled substance-cocaine Jan. 25 near East Route 120 and East Misty Hill Lane. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Feb. 15 court date.
