Police Blotter: Drug, Suspended/Revoked License Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Ottoriel Quinonez, 24, of 1201 S. Elmwood Ave., Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Sept. 3 on the 400 block of East Route 120. He was released on his drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Sept. 24 court date.

Drugs

Glenn A. Rapanos, 23, of 404 Ivanhoe Road, Grayslake, was charged with possession of cannabis - more than 30 grams and less than 500 grams - Sept. 5 on the 600 block of North Lake Street. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and delivery of cannabis - more than 30 grams and less than 500 grams. He was taken to bond court.

Failure to Give Aid/Information

William R. O'Connor, 46, of 498 Wicks St., Grayslake, was charged with failure to give aid or information Sept. 10 on the 200 block of Center Street. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Nov. 20 court date.

Traffic

Raul Hernandez, 25, of 1280 Coventry Glen, Round Lake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Sept. 3 near Route 45 and Drury Lane. He was also cited for speeding. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Adrian Gil de Montes, 43, of 1819 Country Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Sept. 11 near Atkinson Road and Route 120. He was also cited for speeding. He was released on $1,500 bond pending an Oct. 16 court date.

Hugo Aguilar, 28, of 724 Clayton St., Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Sept. 17 near Lake and Center Streets. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and was wanted on an in-state warrant. He was released on $3,000 bond pending an Oct. 16 court date.

Mark E. Kaye, 62, of 28585 N. Schank Ave., Mundelein, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Sept. 21 near Route 83 and Peterson Road. He was released on $1,500 bond pending an Oct. 16 court date.

Unlawful Use of Weapons

Dante R. Smith, 27, of 355 Alta Drive, Grayslake, was charged with unlawful use of weapons - carries on person/street - other firearm Sept. 10 near Routes 45 and 120. He was also cited for not having a rear registration plate light. He was released on $1,200 bond pending an Oct. 2 court date.
