Police Blotter: DUI, Drug and Traffic Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Lindsay N. Burke, 31, of 386 Moore Court Unit 1C, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Nov. 16 near Route 120 and Kerry Way. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on $1,000 bond and her drivers license pending a Dec. 17 court date.

Jerushi L. Aunet, 35, of 18613 W. Hickory Place, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Nov. 23 near Routes 45 and 120. Aunet was also cited for speeding. Aunet was released on $1,000 bond and a drivers license pending a Dec. 17 court date.

Drugs

Adam J. Villarreal, 29, of 5 W. Big Horn Drive, Hainesville, was charged with possession of cannabis - more than 30 grams and less than 500 grams - Nov. 19 on the 100 block of West Big Horn Drive in Hainesville. He was also cited for delivery of cannabis - more than 30 grams and less than 500 grams, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to bond court. 

Traffic

Serena M. Wilson, 25, of 2042 Oak Tree Trail, Lake Villa, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Nov. 22 near West Rollins Road and North Drury Lane. She was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Motasem J. Abdel-Jaber, 19, of 3272 Victoria Lane, Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Nov. 24 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Jose G. Aguilera-Prada, 20, of 554 Hillcrest Terrace, Round Lake Park, was charged with not having a valid drivers license Nov. 26 near Alleghany Road and Hojem Lane. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Silvia Saavedra, 21, of 296 E. Lake Park Ave., Grayslake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Nov. 27 near Route 120 and Sears Boulevard. She was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.
