Police Blotter: DUI, Suspended/Revoked License Arrests

The Grayslake Police Department reports arrests from Nov. 27 - Dec. 1.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Alex Tavizon, 24, of 111 W. Maple St., Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Nov. 28 near Routes 45 and 120. He was also cited for having a BAC of .08 or more, disobeying a traffic control device and illegal squealing/screeching of tires. He was released on his drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Dec. 31 court date.

Ignacio A. Aviles-Torres, 27, of 2812 Elisha Ave., Zion, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Nov. 29 on the 100 block of Route 120 in Hainesville. He was also cited for having a BAC of .08 or more, not having a signal lamp or signal device, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, not having a valid drivers license and driving in the wrong lane. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a Dec. 17 court date.

Drugs

Charles A. Best, 21, of 18135 W. Big Oaks, Wildwood, was charged with possession of cannabis - 30 grams or less - Nov. 27 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for having an obstructed windshield or front side window. He was released on $120 cash bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Traffic

Osias B. Fernandez, 19, of 1705 Jenkinson Court, Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Nov. 27 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for failure to wear a properly-adjusted and fastened seat belt. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Palomar Anacari, 23, of 126 S. Liberty St., Elgin, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Nov. 27 near Route 120 and Main Street in Hainesville. Anacari was also cited for improper lane usage. Anacari was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

David E. Dominguez, 20, of 428 W. Fielding Lane, Round Lake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 1 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage, and was wanted on an in-state warrant. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.
