A trial for a former Lake County teacher that has been delayed several times over the past 3 1/2 years has once again been pushed back following a hearing Monday, according to the Daily Herald.
Nicole R. Jacobsen has been charged with several counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse for accusations that she molested a 14-year-old boy in a classroom at West Oak Middle School in Mundelein in May 2010, according to the article.
Jacobsen's attorney said he is awaiting the completion of a sex offender evaluation before possibly resolving the case, according to the Daily Herald.
