Wisconsin Man Arrested Following Standoff at Lake Co. Gas Station

A 24-year-old man is expected in bond court Saturday morning following a standoff with police Friday evening at a gas station that is connected to a McDonald's in Wadsworth, according to WGN-TV.  

The Lake County News-Sun reports the Wisconsin man threw an ignited firework at police officers after authorities kicked open a panel in a bathroom stall where Koch was and found him "unresponsive and slouched over" and also blocking the door

Police heard three loud bangs  and proceeded to clear the premises, according to CBS Chicago. He was taken into custody about 9 p.m. and no one was injured during the incident, according to the article. 

He said he threw the firework "because he was scared," according to the Lake County News-Sun. He now faces a felony charge of aggravated battery and misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, according to the article.
