Wrong Way Driver Reported As Cause of Serious Accident

Three ambulances were called and portions of Route 12 were closed Friday nigh due to an accident.

A major car accident required three ambulances to respond to the northbound lanes of Route 12, one half mile south of Route 120 on June 29.

Lake County officials said the cause was reported as a wrong way driver.

Portions of the northbound lanes of Route 12 between Route 120 and Case Road were closed as a result Friday night, causing heavy traffic delays.
