Boil Order Lifted in Grayslake

Officials announced the news on the village website Friday morning.

The boil order in Grayslake has been lifted.

"The precautionary water boil order that went into effect on Wednesday is now over," officials posted on the village website. "Test results on water samples taken from the system showed there were no water quality issues resulting from the drop in water pressure. You may proceed to use your tap water as you normally would. The Village thanks you for your patience during this matter."

The boil order had been in effect since Wednesday afternoon, following a drop in water pressure in the village.
