Friends of the Library Seeks New Volunteers

The Grayslake Public Library will be hosting a book sale in September.

Friends of the Library is looking for new volunteers and will host a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. to explain how its group of volunteers takes donated used books and turns those into funding for programs.

Some of those programs include Summer & Winter Concert Series, LEGO Robotics, and the Friday Night Film Series.

Book Sales are held twice a year and in addition to raising funds, provide the public with the opportunity to purchase quality books at a very low cost.
