Grayslake to Offer Three Christmas Tree Pick-Up Days
The Lake County Forest Preserves also has several Christmas tree drop-off locations.
Are you ready to start taking down those Christmas decorations but aren't sure what to do with your tree?
The Village of Grayslake will hold its Christmas tree pick-up program Jan. 3, 9 and 16.
According to the village website, trees should be placed at the curb or edge of the street the night before the scheduled pick-up day. Trees should not be bagged, and trees that are taller than 6 feet must be cut in half.

The Lake County Forest Preserves also has several drop-off locations for Christmas trees, which will be chipped and used for trails and landscaping at forest preserves throughout Lake County. Trees will be accepted from Dec. 6 through Feb. 1. Click here for more information.
