Learn About Energy-Saving Program at Informational Session Jan. 29

The session will be held at the Grayslake Public Library.

Interested in learning about how you might be able to save up to $1,750 on home energy improvements?

The Village of Grayslake will host an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Grayslake Public Library, 100 Library Lane, so residents can learn about a United States Department of Energy grant program that can help them save money on home energy efficiency improvements.

Through the grant program, residents can get a free home energy assessment that will result in participants getting suggestions on energy-saving improvements they could make. Residents can then qualify for the Department of Energy grant that will save them 70 percent on those improvements.
