What Has Brad Schneider Been Doing Lately?
North Shore Congressman puts focus on small business and foreign relations.
Since Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Deerfield) took office in January he has combined his passion for helping small business—and with it job growth—and foreign relations into representation of the North Suburban 10th Congressional District.
A member of the small business community and an active participant in the American Israel Public Affairs Committee before he was elected, Schneider now sits on the House Small Business Committee and the Foreign Relations Committee.
Each time he is back in his Lincolnshire District office, he visits at least one business. To date, there have been 20, according to Schneider. In Washington, he has had the opportunity to meet foreign ambassadors and help craft legislation that affects America’s standing in the world.
