I eat a lot of sushi. This place is pretty good, but not excellent. For excellent you need to head to Mundelein or Vernon Hills though. It's pricy, service is slow. Get takeout instead - they package their things up well.
Updated: never going back. Still agree about the food being ok (filler-heavy) and prices being high for the value. But last time I went they added a 20% gratuity (party of two) and didn't inform me. When I inquired it was because "some people with Groupons don't tip on the before-coupon amount". True. Some people don't. But don't try to sneak it in on me because of that.
Not even kidding that if you will go 15 min south, you can get MUCH BETTER sushi.
