UPDATE: After-School Activities Canceled in Districts 46, 50, 127
Snow is falling around the region, and the winter storm is expected to dump anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow.
Update, 4:14 p.m.: The Vine reported on Facebook that they will be closing at 4:30 p.m. today.
"We have to consider the safety of both our staff and patrons. We will be open tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. for lunch and regular service. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Update, 1:24 p.m.: From Grayslake Community High School District 127: "Due to heavy snow, all activities and athletic events have been cancelled for Tuesday, February 26."

Original story: After-school activities have been canceled in Community Consolidated School District 46 and Woodland District 50.
District 46 just announced on Facebook that all after-school activities have been canceled for today.
Champions, however, will remain open, according to the district.
In District 50, the school board meeting scheduled for this evening will be held as planned, according to the district's website.
The College of Lake County will close at 3 p.m. today due to the snowstorm.
Dog N' Suds in Grayslake announced that it will close today at 2 p.m. It'll reopen at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
