Board Member Sought For Prairie Crossing Charter School

Applications are being accepted for PCCS board.

Prairie Crossing Charter School is currently accepting applications to fill one vacancy on its Board of Directors.

is a free, public charter school with a curriculum centered on the environment. Any student enrolled in the Fremont or Woodland School district is eligible for admission.

The school board term begins this September and will expire October 2013, the completion of the open three year term. Completed applications will be accepted until 3:30 p.m. Monday, August 22.

Applications must include the following:

  • Letter of Intent, including:
  1. Statements that reflect your vision for the school
  2. Your strengths related to board work
  3. Why you feel you would be an asset to the board
  4. Specify your interest in the board appointed position
  • Resume
  • Three Letters of Recommendation
