Fern Schumer Chapman, award-winning author of "Is It Night or Day?" will be the first reader in the fall reading series at CLC. Her book was in the list of the top 10 Historical Fiction Titles for Youth in 2010 in the American Library Association's Booklist magazine, was nominated for the Young Adult Library Services Association's Best Fiction Award for Young Adults 2010 and received a starred review in Booklist's February issue.
