CCU Hosts Free Seminar: “Car Buying Made Easy – Know Before You Go!”

Members and Public invited to no-cost educational seminar

Grayslake, IL, September 11, 2012:  Buying a new or used car is supposed to be a fun and exciting occasion.  Consumers Credit Union (CCU, $585 M, Waukegan, IL) wants to make sure your experience measures up to that expectation . . . with that in mind, the Member-owned credit union is hosting “Car Buying Made Easy – Know Before You Go!”  This no-cost seminar will provide helpful tips and tricks of the trade so your next purchase is more fun and less frustration.  This free workshop is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the recently remodeled Holiday Inn in Gurnee, IL.

“Car Buying Made Easy – Know Before You Go” will cover a wide range of buying tips.  Attendees will learn how to get the best value on their purchase, the best price on their trade in . . . even show how to evaluate whether taking 0% interest or the manufacturer’s rebate is best for you.  You’ll be armed with this information before you walk into the dealership, putting you in the driver’s seat!

“Purchasing a vehicle can sometimes be very overwhelming, especially for those on a tight budget,” noted Sean M. Rathjen, CCU President. “This workshop is designed to identify the issues that are part of the car buying experience and help buyers turn those issues into opportunities.  Those attending ‘Car Buying Made Easy’ will walk through each step of the purchasing process, from selecting the best vehicle that meets their needs, to getting a fair price and the right financing option so you’ll ‘know before you go.’”

“Car Buying Made Easy – Know Before You Go” is presented by Car Quotes and Consumers Credit Union in conjunction with Consumers Cooperative Association, the credit union’s sponsor.  Both experienced and first time buyers will benefit from the tips they’ll learn from Lindsey Hicks and Nick Ralph of CarQuotes, CCU’s strategic partner for vehicle purchases.  Both CCU Members and the public at large are invited to attend this no-cost workshop.
