Dog Show at Grayslake Central High School

The National Honor Society of Grayslake Central High School is hosting a Dog Show in order to raise funds for Save-A-Pet. Save-A-Pet is a not-for-profit, no-kill adoption center dedicated to finding loving, quality homes for each cat and dog in its care. However, financial trouble has hit Save-A-Pet and it is in dire need of funds in order to stay open. NHS is hoping to contribute to the continuation of their worthy cause.

The show is on Saturday, December 4th, from 3:00-5:00PM. It will be at Grayslake Central High School. Students and faculty will be entering their dogs. However, the Dog Show is open to the public with just a $5.00 admission fee. The show is virtually expense-free to the NHS, so ALL proceeds will go straight to Save-A-Pet.

This fun "competition" has seven categories: best in show, best dressed, best dog and owner look alike, best teacher's pet, most heart-warming story, and fastest eater. The winners will get prizes and be recognized at the end of the show.
