The Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the College of Lake County are sponsoring this series of four free 90-minute programs. Law related topics facilitated by local attorneys will put laws that impact your life in plain language. A general question and answer session will follow each presentation.
The topics are:
February 16 - Criminal / Traffic Law: A general overview of criminal traffic law and a discussion of changes to the traffic code, entering a plea of guilty and sealing a criminal record will be covered.

February 23 - Bankruptcy / Foreclosure: An overview and general timeline of events involved in bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings will be provided.
March 2 - Divorce: An overview of divorce, custody, child support, visitation and division of assets and debts will be discussed.

March 8 - Social Security Disability & Guardianship: An overview of guardianship, applying for benefits and disability appeals will be covered.
Advance registration is recommended. All sessions are in English and are held at the College of Lake County in Auditorium C005.
