Grayslake Cooperative Nursery School Registration and Open House

The Grayslake Cooperative Nursery School (GCNS), located at The Shops of Prairie Crossing in Grayslake, is hosting registration and a public open house on Monday, February 7th, from 12 pm to 2 pm. Stop by to learn about our school, tour our classrooms and to register.  Children are welcome.

In order to register, GCNS will need to collect the required paperwork (available at registration): a copy of the child's birth certificate and/or adoption certificate (if not currently on file) and a $75 non-refundable registration fee.

GCNS welcomes families from Grayslake, Hainesville, Round Lake, Gurnee, Mundelein, Libertyville and surrounding areas. The preschool has been providing area children with a quality preschool experience for more than thirty years since its founding in 1976 by a group of local mothers looking for an enriching and nurturing preschool.

Classes are taught by certified teachers, but as a cooperative, parents and staff work together to provide children with a positive school experience. As educational research consistently demonstrates, parental involvement in schools is an essential element in childhood success in school and the Grayslake Cooperative takes that message to heart as parents and educators are dedicated to developing children academically, emotionally, socially and physically in a nurturing, family-focused environment.
