The College of Lake County and the architectural technology program are co-sponsoring a contest to help redesign the second floor of the library. The contest is open to the public as well as students. A cash prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner of the contest.
Anyone who is interested in participating should attend one of the information sessions to get details about the contest and basic library design principles. The information session on Friday, February 4 is from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Informational packets will be available by emailing librarian@clcillinois.edu on or after February 3.
Designs must be submitted by using CAD software, which is available at the library, by 9:30am Friday, April 15. The winner will be announced by 12:00pm Friday, April 15.
