The County Green Conference

The focus of this one-day conference is on building a sustainable Lake County for businesses that want to go green, educators, non-profits and anyone interested.

Over 50 speakers and exhibitors will share information and explore the realities of developing a green economy in Lake County.

Locally grown food will be served for breakfast from 8 - 8:45 a.m. At 9 a.m. the morning keynote speaker, Randy Blankenhorn, Executive Director of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, will discuss the regional plan for sustainable growth. The rest of the day will include many other discussions about the process of going green during break-out sessions.
