GCHS Senior Brandon Seiler Wins A Car From Rockenbach

Rockenbach Chevrolet gave away a used car to a senior at Grayslake Central and at Grayslake North on May 18.

Brandon Seiler, 17, of Hainesville, seemed to be in shock.

"I can't believe it," said the senior at Grayslake Central, as he stood in front of his new silver 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. The SUV was a gift from Rockenbach Chevrolet in Grayslake, a reward for being a good student.

"I've never won anything in my life," Seiler said. "Never."

To be eligible for the car, students must maintain a "B" grade point average, be in good standing in terms of attendance and discipline, and be involved in at least one extra-curricular activity. Seiler was chosen at random out of 72 eligible students at on May 18.

"It could not have happened to a classier kid," said Seiler's school guidance counselor Mary Przanowski. "It's a thrill for him. I spoke to his mom to verify that he really won. Brandon is a great representative of our senior class."
