GNHS Grad Accepts Job with Yankees

Congratulations to Ryan Ornstein, a 2009 graduate of Grayslake North High School who has accepted a clubhouse management position with the New York Yankees!

Ryan Ornstein, who graduated from the Grayslake North High School in 2009, has just accepted a clubhouse management position with the New York Yankees, according to the District 127 Website.

Ryan will graduate in June from DePaul, and will head to Tampa, Florida to begin work with their minor league team the Gulf Coast Yankees. Ryan has been working and traveling as a student manager for the men’s basketball team at DePaul for 4 years while attending classes at the Lincoln Park campus. He has traveled as head manager with the team for the Big East conference games, as well as tournaments in Florida, California, Cancun and France.

Ornstein is the Head Men's Basketball Student Manager at DePaul University, according to his Twitter. He starts his new job as Clubhouse/Equipment Manager with the New York Yankees in June.
