Grayslake District 46 Discusses Referendum Options

Grayslake Elementary District 46 board members say more research is needed into whether the district should move forward with a referendum seeking approval to pay for air conditioning at Woodview and Meadowview schools as well as other possible needs, according to the Daily Herald.

The air conditioning would cost $1.6 million and board members also may discuss seeking voter permission to pay "for upgraded student technology and an initiative to reduce class sizes, which typically requires more teachers," according to the article.

The possible referendum is not planned for the March ballot, according to the Daily Herald.
