Grayslake District 46 Proposes Property Tax Levy Increase

Grayslake Elementary District 46 officials are recommending the school district seeks "the maximum tax revenue allowed by law next year" — a measure that was voted down last year by the school board, according to the Daily Herald.

The school district is proposing a property tax levy increase of 4.7 percent, which would amount to a $66.54 increase for the owner of a $150,000, according to the article. The Daily Herald reports the school board will vote on the tax levy in December.
