Grayslake North Kicks Off Food Drive

Households within GNHS boundaries will receive an empty paper bag at their doorstep this weekend or early next week.

The annual Grayslake North High School Food Drive kicks off this week and all neighbors are invited to participate. Students of GNHS lead the annual drive, which will supply the P.L.A.N. Food Pantry, Lake County Haven, and other local organizations that provide meals and services to those in need this holiday season.

If you live in GNHS boundaries, you will receive an empty paper bag at your doorstep this weekend or early next week with a list of food items you can donate. Fill the bag and leave it on your doorstep on Saturday, Nov. 17 for pick-up. Students will take time and sort the food and drop them off at local charities.

“We appreciate all donation and are thankful for anyone that participates in the food drive,” said senior Jennie Kramer, a senior student leader at GNHS. “We hope to make this food drive the most successful yet.”
