Schools

Lights! Camera! Action!

Student filmmakers will showcase their talents during the third annual Student Film Festival at Grayslake Central High to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The third annual Film Festival will be held at Grayslake Central High School on March 22. The event is hosted by the school's National Honor Society chapter.

GCHS students create and submit their own films to be reviewed and voted on by classmates and teachers. There will be first, second and third place winners. The "new tradition" at the school offers affordable entertainment, a chance for students to show their talents and a way to raise money for a good cause.

"The admission price is only $3," said NHS Vice President Danish Murtaza, "and all proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation."
