Students From Grayslake Named To Augustana College's Dean's List

Augustana College students from Grayslake have achieved and maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4-point scale.

Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. had 821 students named to the Dean's List for the 2011-12 winter term. Students who earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Lauren Novak from Grayslake, a senior majoring in biology.

Kaylin Schaibly from Grayslake, a sophomore majoring in communication sciences and disorders.

Sean Seiler from Hainesville, a junior majoring in biology.

Valerie Van Roeyen from Grayslake, a first year majoring in liberal studies.

Founded in 1860 and situated on a 115-acre campus near the Mississippi River, Augustana College is a private, liberal arts institution affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The college enrolls 2,500 students from diverse geographic, social, ethnic and religious backgrounds and offers nearly 90 majors and related areas of study.
