Woodland Seeks Nominations For Alan Mann Excellence In Education Award

Deadline approaching this week for nominations for the Woodland School District 50 Alan Mann teaching award.

Woodland District 50 is asking its parents and community members to help recognize an outstanding teacher by nominating him or her for the Alan Mann Tribute to Excellence in Education Award.

The Alan Mann Tribute to Excellence in Education is named after Alan Mann, a former Woodland Board of Education member and active member of the Gurnee community. To honor his commitment, District 50 recognizes teachers who demonstrate effort and commitment beyond normal expectations. The experiences students and/or their parents have encountered with a Woodland teacher will help identify the contributions they make to our students and their families on a daily basis. Up to four winners will be receive an iPad for use in their classroom.
