Chicago Bears, Culter Make 7-Year Deal

Bears make commitment to quarterback Jay Cutler with long-term deal.

The Chicago Bears are sticking with quarterback Jay Cutler, announcing Thursday that the team signed him to a seven-year deal.

The Bears’ management called Cutler a “quarterback we can win with,” according to the Chicago Tribune.

While the team did not release the financial terms of the deal, FoxSports.com reports Cutler would earn $18 million in the first three years of the contract.
