Five Football Questions With: Michael Suarez

Editor's note: In honor of the start of the Grayslake North High School football season, I stopped by a recent varsity football practice to interview some players who volunteered. I'll be featuring these profiles over the next several days. Be sure to check out the team's schedule for this season.

Name: Michael Suarez

Position: Offensive line, right guard

1. What's great about the team this year? I think what's great is how we really came together and we're a brotherhood. (The brotherhood) is very important. If you don't have trust, it's hard to play as a brotherhood.

2. Who will be your biggest opponent this year? Lakes. It's going to be a tough game, a physical game. (Note: GNHS beat Lakes in their season opener.)

3. Who is your favorite player in the NFL? Adrian Peterson. He's just off an injury. He's quite inspiring, doing stuff for the team even though he was injured. 

4. What do you love about playing football? Friday nights and being under the lights, playing our hearts out. It's the best feeling in the world.

5. What do you do when you're not playing football? I hang out friends and family and keep good grades.
