Editor's note: In honor of the start of the Grayslake North High School football season, I stopped by a recent varsity football practice to interview some players who volunteered. This is my final profile in the series. Be sure to check out the team's schedule for this season.

Name: Mike McGrath
Position: Free safety
1. What's great about the team this year? I think we lost key players but we're still able to bounce back and expect a good season this year.
2. Who will be your biggest opponent this year? Lakes, since they're our rivals. Every year, it has been a pretty physical game. I just watch (football) film and try to relax. (Note: Grayslake North beat Lakes in their season opener).
3. What do you love about playing football? Our team has formed a brotherhood and we've gotten so close. I love playing under the lights and smacking people around.
4. Who is your favorite player in the NFL? Brian Urlacher. I admire his leadership and his loyalty to the Bears for staying with the team.
5. What are you doing when you're not playing football? Just trying to do homework, and I run track.
