The Grayslake Youth Lacrosse U15AA team is being recognized for its winning season.
The team won the Northwest Chicago Youth Lacrosse Federation season-ending tournament June 8 in Lake Zurich. Grayslake beat teams from Palatine, Libertyville and Lake Villa to win the championship, said parent Carlos Sandoval.
The team also made it to the semifinals of the Brewtown Lacrosse Festival in Milwaukee, Sandoval said.
"Congratulations to the boys and a big thank you to the coaches—Bob Monaghan, Alex Fletcher and Sean Monaghan—for a successful season," said Sandoval.
