Are you ready for some football, Grayslake?

This is going to be a big one. Friday night football — 7:15 p.m. Oct. 14 at Grayslake Central — will be an all-out battle pitting two Grayslake teams against each other. 

North vs. Central. Knights vs. Rams. On the line is more than bragging rights in the friendly crosstown rivalry.

Both teams are having good seasons this year, so every win is critical. Grayslake Central, undefeated until last week, is now 6-1 and headed to the playoffs. Grayslake North is 4-3, and needs a win to be that much closer to making the playoffs.

So who will get the victory? While everyone will remain friends across town after the battle, and the kids and coaches all have much to be proud of, let's start it up.
