Park School Athletes Score Big in Track and Field

The IESA's Track and Field Meet was held last weekend in East Peoria.

Congratulations to the Park School Campus seventh-grade boys who placed first in the 4x200-meter relay at the Illinois Elementary School Association's (IESA) Track and Field Meet in East Peoria on Saturday.

The athletes, who competed in the Boys Class 7A State Track Meet, won with a time of 1:48.04.

  • 8th grader Alyssa Morello placed second in the girls pole vault, third in the 400-meter dash and fifth in the 100-meter hurdles.
  • 7th grader Tyler Stein placed 36th in the boys high jump.
  • 7th grader Sebastion Hinestrosa placed 22nd in the boys 400-meter dash.
  • 7th grader Sergio Posadas placed 22nd in the boys 200-meter dash.
