Three Generations Compete in Triathlon

One Grayslake family runs, bikes and swims to cross the finish line of a Wisconsin triathlon.

What better way to family bond than by doing a triathlon together. The Morris family of Grayslake, Bill, 67, his son 44-year-old Dr. Patrick Morris and his grandson Dylan, 10, participated in a Fontana Triathlon in Fontana, Wisconsin this weekend.

With more than 150 participants in the race, the tri-generational relay team finished 3rd among the relay teams.

As the grandfather, Bill did the quarter mile swim in Lake Geneva, Patrick did the 12 mile bike ride and Dylan covered the three-point-one mile run. The team finished in 1:27:25.
