Liveblog With Patch For The Rams Playoff Game In Tinley Park

Patch will be liveblogging from Tinley Park on Saturday, capturing every moment of the Rams playoff game. Log in and interact with other Rams fans during the game.

The good news? The Grayslake Rams (7-2) made it into the playoffs! Their first round game is at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

The bad news? It is against Tinley Park (7-2) AT Tinley Park.

Hopefully there will be several diehard fans who make the drive down to cheer on the Rams.

For those who feel it is just too far away, however, you are in luck. You can still catch all the action of the game by logging onto Grayslake Patch.

I (and my color commentator Glenn) will be liveblogging from the game, and you can log on from the comfort of your living room for realtime updates for all the action.

We did this from the Crosstown Classic, Rams vs. Knights game, on Oct. 14. Here are a few comments from readers who joined in:

A big visiting RAM FAN crowd would be nice too. Are there any caravan and tailgate plans being made for the game?

Jim, I agree! The more Grayslake fans there from both sides of town, the better!! I believe there is a fan bus going from Central. I'll look into it and share details. But anyone else know of plans to caravan and/or tailgate for the big game? Share it here to everyone can get involved.

Go Rams!!!! Oh, by the way.... the Boys Cross Country Rams won the Antioch regional Cahmpionship last Saturday with the Ram's Will Brewster took the individual Championship!!!! Meanwhile the lady's Cross Country Rams took 3rd place in the same meet (cool sport, the guys and girls travel and rum meets together ....not against each other of course!) Anyway where was I? Right, the lady's 3rd place earned them a place in the sectionals so the guys and girls will be running for a Sectional Championship in Belvidere!! They'll also be competing to qualify for a chance to run for the State Championship the following Saturday in Peoria....GO RAMS!!

Found out that there is a fan bus for students with $1 charge per student. Game tickets can be purchased in the AD office by anyone for $5 so you don't have to wait in line at Tinley Park. And yes, people will gather for tailgating (bring your own food and drinks) in Tinley Park about 90 minutes before the game starts. Lots of fun ways to support the team!!

J Frank, that is awesome for the cross country athletes! Obviously, football is not the only game in town. Congrats to all!! I am working on a story about the cross country stars as well.
