Equal Rights Amendment Needed Now

There will be an Equal Rights Amendment event on: Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the UAW Region 4 Hall, 680 Barclay Blvd., Lincolnshire.

Come to this free event to help move the Equal Rights Amendment forward again – in Illinois.  We need to get this passed in Illinois. Please consider attending and find out what we can do to get this passed. The bill will come up in the fall. This is a nonpartisan issue. Invited guests and speakers include State Rep. Lou Lang, State Sen. Heather Steans, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Governor Pat Quinn, Congressman Brad Schneider, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Congresswoman Jackie Speier of California, Senator Dick Durbin, and Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland. Light desserts, coffee and tea will be available.
