Fireworks, 'Taste of Grayslake' This Weekend

Fireworks, food and entertainment - sound like a perfect summer evening?

The Grayslake Park District, Grayslake Chamber of Commerce and Village of Grayslake will present the 16th annual Family Picnic & Fireworks from 4-10 p.m. June 29 in Central Park.

The event will feature the "Taste of Grayslake," business booths, games, live music, kids rides and, of course, fireworks, according to the Grayslake Park District website

Many activities will take place from 4 to 9 p.m., including moonwalks, a giant slide, giant swings, climbing wall, obstacle course, carnival rides, face painting and Baggo.
 
Memory Makers DJ Service will provide music from 4-6 p.m., and then the band "28 Days" will play from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

The fireworks are set to start at dusk.

Parking will be available at Grayslake Middle School and Grayslake Central High School.
