Fun and spirit-moving, their sound waves bring original work infused with flavors of blues, jazz, folk and rock. Their most recently released album is titled Sugar + Rain – concert goers will have a chance to win copies of this CD.

They will also perform selections from their album of children’s songs that’s expected to be released later this year. Opening for Tear-Water Chili is another local musician, Jon Napiorkowski. He’s performed at Ravinia and will serenade us here with popular tunes and original songs in the style of John Mayer, Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson.

THE CAVERN BEAT, Monday, July 23  at 7 p.m.
Get ready to twist and shout the night away…The Fab Four are coming to rock the Library!

Join us on the lawn for a very special concert as we present one of the world’s premier Beatles Tribute Bands. They’ve performed all over the world and are compared to 'the jukebox' for sounding so much like the real thing! To stay true to that sound, they use vintage guitars and amplifiers in their performances-- the same brand the Beatles used. And, they dress and wear their hair in the famous Fab Four style for the full effect! Be a part of this magical, musical tour of Beatles music.

MAKANI AND FRIENDS, Monday, August 6 at 7 p.m.
You’ll want to bring the whole family to see this unique and all-new summer review. Come with us on a journey to the Polynesian Islands. Listen as the tropical breezes carry the beautiful voices of Makani, the strumming of ukuleles, the beating of the Tahitian Drums and the traditional dances of Hokule’a. Hear songs from Hawai’i, Tahiti and New Zealand. This year, experience those familiar songs of Hawai’i along with the traditional selections. Get ready to move to the heartbeat of the all new Tahitian Drum segment. Feel the heat of the Siva Afi (Dance of Fire) by Hokule’a’s own…”Kawika” and you’ll be captivated by the beautiful dancing of Hokule’a’s, “Akamai.” A hui hou! (until we meet again).
