Invest In Your Health And Youth Development

Buy locally grown organic produce at the Prairie Farm Corps Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and it supports a youth development program.

Join the Prairie Farm Corps Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and receive 8 weeks of certified organic produce 100% grown in Grayslake. You will enjoy a seasonal assortment of farm-fresh delicious vegetables, and your purchase will support a youth development program at the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm.

Community Supported Agriculture is a mutually beneficial relationship between a farmer and consumer. Consumers purchase a CSA “share” which provides money for start-up farm expenses such as seeds, equipment, repairs, and tractor fuel. During the growing season, CSA members receive a weekly box of farm-fresh seasonal produce, and develop as a relationship with the farmer who grew their food.

The Prairie Farm Corps CSA runs June 22 – August 10, and pickup is on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Prairie Crossing Farmers Market, Station Square, 970 Harris Road, Grayslake.
