The Music of the Islands Comes to the Grayslake Library

Witness an amazing fire dance, and hear the sounds of the Polynesian Islands at a free concert at the Grayslake Library Monday.

Listen to beautiful songs from the islands, hear instruments like the ukele and Tahitian drums, and witness the amazing Fire Dance, while you are transported to the Polynesian Islands right on the library lawn.

Makani and Friends will perform for the Summer Concert series Monday, August 6 at 7 p.m. at the , located at 100 Library Lane in Grayslake. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, even your dog. Tropical smoothies will be available for purchase and 20% of the proceeds will benefit the library.

The Summer Concerts are free and sponsored by the Friends of the Grayslake Library.  Concert-goers will have a chance to win Ravinia tickets and there may be some other giveaways as well.
