IDOT: Route 21/137 Project 58 Percent Complete
Construction is set to be finished in spring 2014.
The construction project taking place on Routes 21 and 137 in Libertyville is now 58 percent complete.
Illinois Department of Transportation officials are providing regular status updates about the project on a special website, IL Rte 21 and 137 Project. In their latest update, from Sept. 6, IDOT officials said this week's work will include placing the aggregate base on 21 and 137.
Paving of the asphalt base is expected to start the week of Sept. 16, with concrete pavement placement to follow by the end of September.
