Get Your Clean On!

It's that time of year again- The birds are chirping, the sun is shining…

Before you know it, you start to find cobwebs and dust in your home from the long winter. That can only mean one thing- It's SPRING CLEANING time!

Springtime is a great opportunity to start home improvement projects like cleaning and decluttering. Here are a few quick tips to get you started:

* Make a checklist of tasks and chores to be more efficient.
* When dusting start at the top and work your way down.
* To allow your cleaning products to work for you, let them sit for several minutes.
* Don't mix cleaning products - bleach and ammonia are toxic when mixed.
* Cleaning windows on an overcast day with average temperatures will prevent streaks.
* Baking soda mixed with water makes a great scratch free cleaner and silverware shiner.
* For easy cleaning fill a bucket with all the basics that you will need and carry it with you from room to room.
* If you find yourself with a long to-do list, assign chores - get the whole family involved!
