Bruce Wants A Home

Meet the Save-A-Pet featured cat, Bruce, who is available for adoption.

Someone took action and it paid off for me! When I first started jumping over their high backyard fence and coming to their back door, their daughter took a picture and went door-to-door trying to find my home.

One of the neighbors mentioned that she had seen me wandering the streets the last couple of months. I knew I had finally found some caring people so I started showing up in the morning and evening for food. I quickly started to sleep by their back door where they were finally able to see that my fur was matted and obviously I was not taken care of.

They took me to the local animal control where my microchip tracked me back to . Had they not kept a watchful eye on me or just simply made the assumption that I had a home, I would still be all alone, in the back of an alley, cold and hungry.

I am still a little sad and lonely without a home, so I'm not too active here in the Main Cat Room. I usually spend my days watching out of the big windows, waiting for my new family to come and find me.

From Save-A-Pet: Bruce is about 7 years old. He is neutered and up-to-date on routine shots including rabies. He tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and is microchipped. Come fall in love with him and don’t forget to check all his friends at www.saveapetil.org.
