Discover The Treasure Of Gray's Lake

Second annual Gray's Lake Clean Up event planned for June 9.

The is again receiving extensive community support for its second Annual Lake Clean Up. The event on June 9 is once again being sponsored in part by Allen Investments of Grayslake.

This year's theme is to “Discover the Treasure” of Gray's Lake where volunteers participating in the shoreline clean up may find chests filled with treasures including gift certificates and merchandise donated by local businesses.

“It’s a true sign of community pride when so many local businesses donate goods and services to help support this program," said Kathy Allen of Allen Investments. She is donating several treasure chests to Park District Director Jeff Nehila.
