With the Lake County Fair fast approaching, the is looking for volunteers to help staff the gates.

The fair is scheduled for July 25 - 29 at the fairgrounds, 1060 E. Peterson Road in Grayslake. Each year the Exchange club collects tickets at the gates in exchange for a donation that will go towards local organizations that provide services to women and children who have been abused.

The Exchange Club is looking for any volunteers, age 16 or older, who would be willing to fulfill community service hours. "The shifts are about five hours long, and we have openings on Thursday, Friday or Saturday," said Pam Oster with the Exchange Club.
