Garden Club Offers Scholarship

Horticulture students can apply for a scholarship of up to $1,000.

The Grayslake Greenery Garden Club is committed to encouraging interest in all phases of home gardening, promoting civic beautification, and promoting conservation of natural resources.  

To help promote these goals, the Grayslake Greenery Garden Club announced its annual scholarship for the 2012 school year. The competition for up to $1000 in scholarship is open to any full or part time student resident in Lake County, Illinois who is majoring in the field of horticulture.  

The money from the scholarship will be applied to tuition and/or textbook costs at the institution in which the student is enrolled.
