Garden Club Offers Student Scholarships

Deadline approaching for scholarship.

The Grayslake Greenery Garden Club is committed to encouraging interest in all phases of home gardening, promoting civic beautification, and promoting conservation of natural resources. 

To help promote these goals, the GGGC is offering its annual scholarship for the 2011 school year. The competition for up to $1,000 in scholarship money is being offered to any full-time or part-time student who is a resident of Lake County and majoring in the field of horticulture.

The application deadline is April 15.

The money from this scholarship will be applied to tuition and/or textbook costs at the institution in which the student is enrolled.
